Chambers Records and Custody Contacts
The Chambers County Sheriff's Office is the first contact for a county booking record or intake photograph. Its main office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The jail has a separate address and telephone. No dedicated sheriff records line, email, local request form, photo fee, or local turnaround is published, so confirm the current custodian and cost before sending a request.

Choose the contact that matches the record or custody stage:
- For a mugshot, booking sheet, roster question, or recent arrest, use the county records and custody search path, then contact the sheriff or detention facility.
- For a Valley, Lanett, or LaFayette incident or arrest report, contact the arresting city police department; the city report is separate from the jail booking record.
- For a filed charge, warrant division, or case outcome, call the Chambers Circuit Clerk at (334) 864-4348 or use Alabama's official court service.
- For a selective wanted notice or lawful warrant confirmation path, use Most Wanted; the app list is not a full warrant search.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Alabama Department of Corrections offender search rather than the county jail.
- For federal prison custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator; for immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator.
The courthouse posts Central Time hours, while the county annex in Lanett posts Eastern Time hours. Verify the individual office's time zone and schedule before traveling.
